Simple Rendering with 3dsmax & Vray

I hope to provide an overview of how I created the scene and discuss a few of the key techniques I used. The main job was the lighting. I used v-ray for rendering and the render settings are simple and the rendering is fast. The modelling is quiet simple. I have just applied colours and have used a very few textures in this building.


Lighting:
Usually i use a dome for skylight simulation and a Target Direct light (fig.02). I find it hard for beginners to understand and it also takes more time to render. So i tried using a VraySun light, no other lights were used. Fig.04 shows the VraySun light in 3dsmax.

Rendering:
I used a Standard Target Camera. Vray rendering makes the whole scene look as realistic as possible. The Vray Rendering settings are given below:






I have also used a GI Environment light as shown below.



And here is the Final Rendering Output in Vray. 



I just added a tree, birds and sky using photoshop. I have done a very little post production. We can make this look more realistic. But i hope this will do for beginners.
